Pyroplex® is a leading authority in the specification, manufacture and testing of passive fire protection products. Based in the UK, we operate internationally to help the construction industry ensure high levels of fire safety in both commercial and residential buildings.

For over 30 years, the company has been developing fire seals and fire stopping products, meeting and exceeding strict regulatory requirements in fire resistance.

Our Passive Fire Protection Products

Our highly effective fire stopping products and components include CE marked pipe wraps and fire collars, fire sealants, fire-rated foams and many profiles of fire door seals suitable for both timber and metal door sets. We also provide custom profile design and manufacturing. Our capabilities range from single material extrusions through to more complex extrusion requirements.

For example, Pyroplex has developed industry leading intumescent graphite-based compounds which we manufacture in-house in our UK manufacturing site, providing traceability and assurance throughout our production processes. We recognise that consistent and high-quality service is crucial to the success of our customers and pride ourselves on industry leading fast lead times to them across our multiple manufacturing process steps.

Certification and Testing

Pyroplex works tirelessly to secure and maintain third-party certification for its products, reassuring specifiers and contractors about its passive fire protection strategy. This includes CE marking, Certifire certification and relevant BSI certificates. Furthermore, the company carries out a constant program of independent testing – using highly regarded organisations such as Warringtonfire, Efectis Group, ITB Poland, Thomas Bell Wright and other national and international providers.
